According to the ASER, Annual Status of Education Report reveals that the dropout rate of school students in rural India is 25% even before them attaining the age of 11 years. The lack of stationery aid and learning materials is the chief cause for this amongst diverse other factors. 

Due to the pathetic conditions of deprived families, their guardians are not able to afford their school spending because of which intelligent and ambitious students get miles away from the school education. Lack of awareness amongst the communities and poverty are the major factors resulting in the non-attendance of schools by children in these areas.

Seva Dharma Trust aims to bridge this gap!

We believe today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders and hence aim at reaching those children who are denied their basic right to education due to inability to afford education. Hence, Seva Dharma Trust organizes various book distribution campaigns throughout the year to provide free books and stationery to underprivileged children.

Distributing educational stuffs to this underprivileged students will help them to get equal opportunities for education. The project will help the poor students to be conscious towards education which will reduce the problem of school drop-out to some extent. As the parents will get help in getting educational stuffs, they will motivate their children to get school education and the children will gain confidence. These campaigns are very beneficial for realizing the sustainable development goal of providing education to all.
